Why Pharos?
A symbol of guidance, safety, and resilience - a beacon that shines through the darkest nights and the fiercest storms, leading the way to a safe harbour.
At Pharos Fitness Tenerife, we aspire to be that beacon.
At Pharos Fitness Tenerife, we believe people deserve more than access to equipment or a crowded class. They deserve real coaching, expert guidance, personal attention, and a community that truly cares. Too often, the fitness industry sells memberships, not outcomes. It leaves people surrounded by others, yet unsupported and unsure of what to do next. We exist to change that.
The name Pharos - meaning lighthouse - was chosen with intention. A lighthouse is a symbol of guidance, resilience, and clarity. It shines through storms, helping travellers find their way to safe harbour. That’s who we are. We are here to be that beacon: to guide you with care, consistency, and expertise towards a stronger, healthier, and more confident life.
Our approach is different. We don’t offer one-size-fits-all programmes or gimmicks. We design experiences around you:
Private & Semi-Private Coaching for personalised progress.
Small Group Classes including functional training, yoga, and Pilates.
Nutrition Coaching that adapts to your lifestyle.
Mindset & Recovery Practices to help you sustain results.
Every member is known by name, every story matters, and every goal is respected. We meet you where you are, and we move forward together, with clarity, confidence, and community.
This is us: a coaching studio built to raise the standard, to restore fitness to what it should be, a path to strength, health, freedom, and the capacity to experience life fully.
We’d love to guide you on your journey. Book your free strategy meeting and take your first step with us.

My fitness journey began as an athlete in swimming and modern pentathlon, proudly representing Lithuania. After years of competing, I experienced the highs of performance, but also the lows of poor guidance: injuries, burnout, and advice that left me stuck in cycles of fad diets, fatigue, and frustration. Those experiences shaped not only how I view fitness today, but also the type of coach I set out to become.
Determined to better understand training and nutrition, I moved to Portsmouth, UK, where I earned a BSc in Sports Science and later an MSc in Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation. Alongside these academic foundations, I became a certified nutrition coach with Working Against Gravity (WAG) and have spent nearly a decade coaching clients of all ages and abilities.
What makes my approach unique is the perspective I gained as an athlete. I know firsthand how the right coach, one who combines expertise with care, communication, and support, can transform not just performance, but confidence and well-being. That philosophy guides everything I do with my clients today.
My coaching is about building strength, resilience, and confidence in ways that adapt to each individual. Whether it’s recovering from injury, achieving a new milestone like pull-ups, or simply feeling healthier and more energised, I design training and nutrition strategies that fit real life.
Many clients say our sessions are the highlight of their day, leaving them with more energy, positivity, and self-belief. As one put it: “I’ve gained strength and confidence, and she pushes me in a way that feels supportive, not overwhelming.”
For me, coaching goes beyond sets and reps. It’s about guiding people to unlock their potential, feel proud of themselves, and discover that they are capable of far more than they imagined.

My fitness journey began in my teens when I struggled with an autoimmune condition that made sweating unbearable. This turned me into a sedentary teenager, finding comfort in food and feeling trapped in my own body. But everything changed when I was inspired by movies like 300 and Man of Steel. Watching those actors transform sparked something in me, and I started exploring how they trained.
At first, I was too self-conscious to go to a gym, so I trained at home with whatever I had. It wasn’t easy, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way—falling for fitness gimmicks and trends. But the more I learned about real training principles, the more my health improved. Over time, I realised that fitness wasn’t just about how I looked; it was about how I felt. My autoimmune condition became more manageable, and I gained confidence in both body and mind.
This personal transformation inspired me to help others, so I earned a degree in Psychology and later an MSc in Sports Performance. For almost a decade, I’ve been a personal trainer, working with clients of all ages and fitness levels—from Varsity athletes to those just starting their journey. I blend my background in psychology and sports performance to create a holistic approach, focusing on progress over perfection and empowering clients to understand the “why” behind every movement.
I’m also a Certified Precision Nutrition coach, where I combine the science of nutrition, habits, and psychology to help clients make sustainable changes that fit their lives.
Fitness is not just about working out; it’s about community, support, and accountability. I know what it’s like to struggle on your own, and I’m here to help guide you every step of the way toward a healthier, stronger, and more confident you.
At Pharos Fitness Tenerife, we bring a complete approach to coaching, where strength, recovery, mindset, nutrition, and community work together to create lasting change.
